Application of BZ solids control system

Solids control system is a mud system used to control the formation of solids during drilling. The irregular solids formed by these drilling will affect the effectiveness of drilling fluid and drilling efficiency.Too much solids cuttings affect the Rheological properties and filterability of the drilling fluid, reduce penetration and bit life, and increase drilling problems. Because drilling fluid is expensive and will damage the environment, solid control systems are created.

                       

Under ideal conditions, the solids control system must separate all solids from the drilling fluid.In general, the low specific gravity solid volume ratio must be kept below 6%. in the process of drilling, drilling fluid purification system is the one of the important system of the complete rig system, In particular, in the process of drilling deep Wells,  the huge friction of rock block can cause a lot of damage.Drilling mud is often used  to prevent cause a well kick or blowout.
 
                        

Chemical additives and cuttings from drilling are the two main sources of solids. Cuttings are the main part that affects the performance of the drilling fluid. If cuttings are not removed in time, they will be ground smaller and finer, making it more difficult to remove.
Generally, cuttings can be separated mechanically. In other words, The smaller the particle, the harder it is to separate,and the greater the impact on the drilling fluid. Cuttings generally refer to 1-250 micron solids formed by drilling.  
Solid control system mainly includes: shale shaker, vacuum degasser, desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge, agitator, mud tank and other solids control equipment..
